Companies of the week: Historical walks while backpacking

We are back again this week, with a fresh new batch of companies. Companies that we are excited to welcome to the TrekkSoft family, Clyde Coast Tourism, Catamaran Cruise Mauritius, and Go Montanita.

Clyde Coast

For our first feature company we head to Scotland to visit Clyde Coast. Clyde Coast has become popular for their walking and biking tours along the coast of the River Clyde. Not only tour guides, the crew at Clyde Coast are historians. They have a knowledge of the area that is unrivaled.  They can give guests a tour like no other, one they are not sure to forget. They take guests to all the beautiful Churches, and Cathedrals, medieval castles, all while educating them on the history. The Greenock Cut is ranked in the top 50 walks in Scotland, offering breathtaking views of the countryside.  The Greenock Cut originally constructed to supply waters to the industries has become a registered Ancient Monument and one of the most popular destination sites in Scotland. The Clyde Coast Greenock Cut Walking Tour is offered in French, German, and English. Guests will walk the 6km long Cut, enjoying a bird’s eye view of the West Coast of Scotland, and learning all about the Greenock Cut. The tour ends with a stop to the Cut Visitor Centre.

This tour can be booked directly from the Clyde Coast Tourism website using TrekkSoft’s booking system. Each tour is approximately 20 people, which the team can manage with the booking system. Catamaran Cruise Mauritius

Now we head over to Mauritius, for a refreshing ride on a catamaran. Catamaran Cruise Mauritius, as their name says is a catamaran cruise company in Mauritius. A business that started back in 2007 that continues to grow and improve their services every year. Starting with 2 top of the line catamarans, named Cat Cruiser and Island Hopper on the seas they provided trips all over the island. If a never ending demand for cruises the company has more than tripled their fleet. Their main object as the website states, was to provide the very best quality service and vessel for their guests to enjoy and today they are proud of what they have achieved. Guests approve of all of their efforts has Catamaran Cruise Mauritius TripAdvisor profile is filled with rave reviews from their guests.

Catamaran Cruise Mauritius specializes in a range of cruises around Mauritius. Everything from sunset cruises, dinner cruises, overnight cruises, wedding cruises and crewed live on board charters around thecatamaran2 island. They even provide expedition charters to neighboring Saint Brandon. What has become very popular with guests is the Sunset Catamaran Cruise from the West Coast. A 2 hour crewed ride with snacks and drinks included if you choose to.   The catamaran will cruise along the coast line towards Tamarin Bay to watch the most beautiful tropical sunsets the island has to offer. If you are lucky you might even come across whales and school of dolphins which are usually more active in the mornings.

Go Montanita

To cap off this week we head to one of our favorite places Ecuador. Go Montanita is a travel company located in uber popular region of Montanita in Ecuador. Founded in 2012 by an Ex-pat named Thomas Pereira and his wife Joselyn, it was built on the principles of trust and honesty. They promise to give guests the best rates, and make them feel secure at all times. “Our goal is to make traveling to Montanita and our other destinations more accessible by connecting through social networks and other  medias  from Mancora Peru all  the way up to  Mompiche Ecuador in Esmeraldas, throughout the Ruta Sondylus.” Montanita is conveniently located between the tourist favorite cities of Guayaquil and the capital city Quito making this all inclusive offers more plausible.

Thomas is a former backpacker and familiar with the struggles of backpacking through South America. Go Montanita wants to give backpackers a real sense of adventure during their travels, all backpackers gomontanitashould be enjoying an activity during their leisure time. Activities include everything from diving, to surfing, and even paragliding. A favorite of guests is the Dos Mangas Jungle Trek. Dos Mangas is a mountain village not far from Montanita famous for two crossing rivers hence the name Dos Mangas. Guests will hike to observe birds and animals, they can choose to also bike the trail or go on horseback. They have packages for guests staying for more than a day. Go Montanita is always expanding their services, so far they have tours all over Ecuador and have expanded in Peru.
