Happy New Year!!! 2014 was a great year for TrekkSoft.
We appreciate every company that uses TrekkSoft and it was a pleasure to introduce these companies to you. We are losing no steam as we start of the first week of 2015 with a new batch of companies.
North Woods Adventures is an adventure company located in Ely, Minnesota. They provided guided forest tours in the area. Owned by Mark and Liz Palser, they realized that there was a void that needed to be filled in that area, there was no other company offering forest tours, so they took upon themselves to start North Woods Adventures. Mark has always been an adventurer and has toured professionally in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Wyoming, Oregon, and Arizona. Liz has been adventuring in National Forests and Parks most of her life. She is believed to be the first and only female hummer tour guide in the United States. Both Mark and Liz have a vast knowledge of the woods and outdoors life. They have assembled a small team and a fleet of tools that will adequately show you the woods that they are so fond of.
They have come up with a collection of wilderness tours that will have you speechless, and will cover every crevice of the woods. Tours like the “Moose Loop”, “Cathedral of Trees”, Boulder Pass” and “Beyond the end of the Road” will have you aboard their comfortable 12 passenger safari-style tour vehicle for the most comfortable off-roading you can find. Highlights on the tour includes the Cathedral of Trees, Echo Trail, and Lookout Mountain. And if you want an history lesson while you are sightseeing their “Ely/Winton History Tour” will have you traveling along the old railroad line learning about the logging and mining history of the area.
North Woods Adventures uses TrekkSoft’s Content Management System to neatly display their tours. The custom design capabilities allows North Woods Adventures to stay true to form, because they can upload all their logos and fonts and keep their branding. Mark and Liz are big supporters of volunteering and community service as a whole. They employ their guests and anyone else to volunteer for the United States Forest Service in their area, and Mark and Liz practice what they preach.
