Spotlight on Carrosse DeLouis, and discovering a booking solution that will grow with the company

Based in Berlin, Carrosse DeLouis offers the world's first ever electric carriages, blending together luxury and tech to deliver an unforgettable experience. From city and culinary tours to trips to the countryside to private and corporate events, the company is just at the start of their incredible journey.

We met up with Peter Jumpterz, founder and co-CEO of the company to learn more about his tours, his company and why TrekkSoft was the perfect choice for his company.

"One of our main objectives from the start was scalability, we really had to make the business scalable in order to make money. Therefore, we had to look for fully-automated solutions for all our key business processes."

For booking, we needed a solution that could integrate all channels, from online to agents, hotels etc., all the way to walk-ins in the same system. For resource management, we needed a system capable of real-time data capture and distribution. Basically, TrekkSoft was the only system we found after quite an effortful research that was able to provide these features".

Since the company provides various types of services to a very diverse customer base - tourists, locals, couples, big companies - they have found that TrekkSoft also helps them streamline their communication, allowing them to deliver a seamless customer experience.

"The chauffeurs, as we call our drivers, they love the system. Because beyond booking support, we needed an online tool that would give them up-to-date information on upcoming tours, access to guests, contact details, etc. without constantly calling the customer."

Key takeaways for tour or activity operators searching for a booking solution:

1. Be clear on your long term goals and strategies

What are your short and long term goals, and how do you plan to achieve them? Because Peter and his team knew that they wanted to scale their business, they looked for a software solution that would help them achieve this through automating a lot of their key business processes.

2. Know your business' needs

Peter was very clear about what he needed from a software solution and why he needed it. He specified three main areas, booking, resource management, and streamlining communication between customers and their chauffeurs.

So, what are your business' needs?

3. Consider the different parts of your business

Which parts of your business would benefit from an automated solution? Beyond taking and managing bookings, what other parts of your business would benefit from automated systems?

For example, with TrekkSoft, you can automate notifications for guides and partner companies when a booking is made. This makes sure that everyone involved in delivering a great holiday experience in prepared and updated. The best part is that it only takes one click!
