Use TrekkSoft's custom fields to stay original

And so, the custom fields option was born. Just by logging into the Admin Desk, you can get access to Custom Fields by scrolling down to Settings and selecting it from the sub-menu.

From here, the possibilities are endless. You can choose to provide space for single line of text for your customers to enter personal details such as a phone number or email. For more lengthy requirements such as an address or personal message, you can provide space for an entire body of text. Maybe you’re a Type A personality who likes to call the shots. Well then, you’re in luck. You can choose display your options with check boxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists, or dates and just have your customers choose from there. It’s almost like being at the make-your-own-sundae bar, minus the calories and cavities.

These unique field options allow you to tailor the system to your individual needs. For instance, two companies use the drop-down list in different ways. Bus2Alps uses it to determine the cities in which their study abroad passengers are located, whereas Tuscany on a Budget uses the drop-down to specify special dietary needs for its food and wine tours. Outdoor Interlaken, on the other hand, chose to implement the radio buttons in order to differentiate between different types of instruction, such as skiing or snowboarding and specific times to get fitted for equipment.

Further, you can make these fields visible or hidden to your customers, mandatory, wait to display until the tour is booked, or have them print on the ticket all by just ticking the appropriate box. You make the decisions where and when you want to. Conformity is for communists; keep yourself informed without compromising your individuality.
