You can now view all of your upcoming activities, activities with bookings, or bookings assigned to specific resources without having to login to your TrekkSoft account. The new TrekkSoft calendar sync feature presents users with the possibility to sync all activities and guest manifests with their preferred calendar application.
Activate Calendar Syncing
Go to the Admin Desk and Schedule & Manifests > Schedule Calendar, where a new option now appears called Calendar Sync:
TrekkSoft uses a service known as Cronofy to sync your calendar. Users will need to grant Cronofy access to:
- read your account details
- list your calendars
- create calendar event
- delete events that this app creates
Next, you will be prompted to select your calendar of choice and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once a successful connection to your calendar has been established, you will be redirected back to your TrekkSoft account. Now you will need to define exactly what elements should be synced.
Your options are as follows:
- All trips including those that don't have bookings
- Only the trips that actually have a booking
- Only the trips that have bookings of a specific resource
Once the syncing job is set-up successfully, you will be presented with a confirmation message of "Calendar setting saved":
You can always revoke access to your calendar and stop syncing:
