Job Description

Full time, entry level position working at the TrekkSoft headquarters in Interlaken, Switzerland. Sales and Marketing Interns will work together with the sales team to execute TrekkSoft's inbound sales strategy. Interns will gain hands-on experience in content creation and distribution for lead generation, as well as nurturing from top of funnel contacts to sales qualified leads. A large part of the internship will revolve around direct sales interactions to bring qualified leads from trial to paying subscriber. If you would rather focus on marketing instead of sales, or vice versa, the role can be flexible.

Profile

  • You are a native English speaker OR you are a native Spanish speaker who also speaks English fluently
  • You are excited to live and work in a Swiss mountain town and the adventure sport capital of Europe
  • You are a resident of the EU or are possession of an EU passport
  • You have strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • You have an outgoing, sales personality
  • You are self sufficient, independent and able to work in a high pressure startup environment
  • You have strong computer and technology skills, advanced level competence in MS Office, Adobe CS Suite, basic understanding of web design and experience in using content management systems such as Wordpress, Joomla, Wix
  • You have a working knowledge of major social media platforms and are willing to use them as part of your daily job
  • You have a passion for travel and adventure
  • Work requires willingness to travel and to work a flexible schedule

Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent required as minimum
  • Experience working with CRM or other sales technology
  • Previous sales experience a plus
  • Previous experience work experience in the travel industry a plus

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead prospecting and lead generation
  • Content creation and distribution
  • Outbound sales calls to qualified leads
  • Ensuring customer success using the TrekkSoft solution by enabling a smooth handover to the customer success team
