Help us raise funds for the education center in Bomang'ombe

VOEWOFO is currently raising funds to build an education center in Bomang’ombe. The funds raised will go towards building materials and transport to reach rural areas in the region.

The foundation believes that sustainable development is not guaranteed by direct financial aid alone, and therefore have a strong focus on providing education, mentoring support and guidance for the women they work with. All monetary donations will go towards providing the necessary facilities and materials towards these activities.

Become a member

People based in Switzerland can become members of the association "Voice of Empowered Women Switzerland" and directly support projects run by VOEWOFO in Tanzania. Members will receive regular newsletters from the foundation and will be invited to the annual members’ meeting where there will be a review of the foundation’s performance and exchange ideas to achieve the foundation’s vision.

Membership fee

Single Member (adults above 18 years old) CHF 80 / per year

Collective Member (companies, organizations, etc.) CHF 200 / per year

 

Another exciting cooperation agreement took place this week: Mama Africa curio in Moshi, Tanzania is a new reseller of the handicraft products created by women entrepreneurs VOEWOFO is supporting in business skills and development in the Kilimanjaro Region. Mama Africa curio is focusing on the fair trade market and is with that supporting the labour market in the Kilimanjaro region for unprivileged groups of the society.
