In 2017, Bologna Welcome had a disconnected supplier network, causing a lot of friction for the DMC to resell this inventory to a larger audience.
Suppliers lacked a standardized booking system, hindering their ability to share inventory effectively, resulting in missed sales opportunities, particularly in popular locations. Bologna Welcome aimed to address this by enhancing their online presence to showcase all available experiences on their website.

Today, Bologna Welcome have added almost 40 tours, activities and museum tickets to their website including the Lamborghini and Ducati museums and factories. They resell these experiences at 5 tourist points in Bologna, making up 48% of in-destination bookings.
