At TrekkSoft, we believe technology should be open to everyone. We are working to make our websites and software usable by people with disabilities, including people who navigate by keyboard, use a screen reader, or need larger text or stronger colour contrast.
Accessibility currently varies across our products. This statement explains what we have assessed, the barriers we know about, and how we are improving accessibility over time.
This statement describes our approach to accessibility across TrekkSoft's main digital products and services:
Corporate website - www.trekksoft.com
Booking Widget - the booking flow that tour and activity operators embed on their websites
AdminDesk - the back-office tool used by tour and activity operators
POS and mPOS - our point-of-sale applications
These products and services may be subject to different accessibility requirements depending on how and where they are used. Where the European Accessibility Act and applicable national legislation apply, we work to meet those requirements. We also apply accessibility principles more broadly across TrekkSoft products as part of our product development approach.
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Level AA as the basis for assessing and improving the accessibility of our digital interfaces.
Our completed Booking Widget assessment was carried out against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. For new product work and future assessments, we are adopting WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our target as European accessibility standards continue to evolve.
Accessibility currently varies across TrekkSoft’s digital products, and not all areas have yet been formally assessed. We have completed a structured assessment of our consumer-facing Booking Widget against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and are addressing the barriers identified.
We are continuing to assess existing products and incorporating accessibility requirements into new product development. We will update this statement as our assessment and improvement work progresses.
The barriers below are those currently known to us. They do not all affect every product. As our assessments continue, we may identify additional barriers and will update this statement accordingly.
Keyboard navigation. Some interactive elements cannot be reached or operated without a mouse. In the Booking Widget, this affects parts of the booking flow and is a priority for remediation.
Colour contrast. Some text and interface controls do not yet meet minimum contrast requirements, including some default settings in the Booking Widget.
Screen reader support. Some controls do not have clear accessible names, and some changes displayed on screen are not announced to assistive technologies.
Forms and error messages. In some places, error messages are not clearly associated with the field to which they relate.
Text scaling and layout. Some components may not resize or reflow correctly on small screens or at high zoom levels.
Language identification. Some content is not programmatically marked with its language, which can affect how screen readers pronounce it.
Some content shown in the Booking Widget is created or configured by the tour or activity operator. This may include photographs, colour choices, activity descriptions, custom questions and translations. Operators also control the accessibility of the website around the embedded Booking Widget.
We cannot guarantee the accessibility of content or websites that we do not create or control. We provide operators with tools and guidance to help them create accessible content and will continue to improve that support.
Accessibility is considered during design and development. We are adding automated accessibility checks to our development process and complementing them with manual review where needed.
We are not attempting to remediate every existing area of the platform simultaneously. Known barriers are prioritised according to their impact and addressed through planned remediation and ongoing development work.
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We will update this statement as assessments are completed, significant barriers are identified, and improvements are released.
If you have difficulty using any part of TrekkSoft, would like to report an accessibility barrier, or need information in an alternative accessible format, please contact us at info@trekksoft.com.
It helps if you can tell us:
what you were trying to do;
which product, page or part of the service you were using;
which device, browser and assistive technology you were using, if relevant;
what prevented you from completing the task; and
a link or screenshot, if available.
We will review your report, investigate the issue and keep you informed about the outcome and any planned next steps.
If you believe an accessibility issue has not been appropriately addressed, you may contact the relevant accessibility, consumer-protection or market-surveillance authority in your country. In Spain, accessibility requirements for covered products and services are implemented through Ley 11/2023 and overseen by the competent authorities designated under that legislation.
European Union: Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services (the European Accessibility Act), applicable from 28 June 2025.
Spain: Ley 11/2023, which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882 into Spanish law.
Technical guidance: WCAG 2.2 Level AA and, where applicable, the European accessibility standard EN 301 549.
