Here's what we'll be working on till September 2019

At the end of 2018, we published a blog post about our commitments to our customers. We detailed the ways we plan to grow our booking platform and how we want to deepen our relationships with our customers. 

Staying true to these commitments, we'll be transparent and honest about our progress with the previous roadmap, acknowledge our short comings and share our plans up till September 2019.

How to integrate TripAdvisor reviews with your TrekkSoft account

We are happy to announce that it is now possible for you to display and capture your TripAdvisor reviews directly into your TrekkSoft account. To make sure that you don't miss a review, just take a few minutes to follow these 4 simple steps.



Step 1: Link your TripAdvisor Listing to your TrekkSoft account by confirming your TripAdvisor URL

  • Log into your TrekkSoft Admin desk and go to Apps / TripAdvisor from the top navigation to make sure that the correct Trip Advisor profile is linked to your account.
  • If there is no TripAdvisor listing linked to your account, or if the wrong listing is linked, you can update this by entering your listings unique URL and clicking "SAVE".
  • Once you have confirmed your unique TripAdvisor URL, visit your TrekkSoft page, your reviews should already be showing in the tour details.




Step 2: Edit your post trip email

To ensure you are capturing as many reviews as possible, TrekkSoft makes it easy to send automatic post trip emails to your guests. Together with TripAdvisor we have created a post trip template that is proven to get the best results. You can review and customize this template by:

  • Going to Design and Content / Templates (PDFs, Emails) in the top navigation.
  • Select the Emails Tab
  • Select Edit Post Trip Email from the list.
  • You can now edit the sender, subject and body text of the email. Don’t forget to click save when you are finished.




Step 3: Activate your post trip email

  • Go to Settings / Booking Settings Reminders in the top navigation.
  • Select the Emails Reminders Tab
  • Select the Post Trip Reminders Box and enter the number of days after the trip date that you would like the email to be sent.
  • Click Save
