Swiss Activities is now available on TrekkSoft and offers travellers a one-stop platform to search and book indoor and outdoor experiences in Switzerland.

Available in three languages - English, German, French, and Italian (coming soon!), customers can select from a wide range experiences including kayak or e-bike rentals, restaurants, ski schools, helicopter tours, city tours, gondola tickets and more.

About Swiss Activities

Swiss Activities was founded in 2020 and aims to become the number one marketplace for travellers to book Swiss experiences.

"We want to help local Swiss operators get more bookings and help them digitalise their sales and marketing. Unlike the big OTAs with high commissions, we focus on providing Swiss customers great experiences while offering personalised support to help long tail operators improve their marketing and online visibility", says Tanja Meier, Head of Sales and Partnerships at Swiss Activities.

Compared to the larger OTAs whose commissions are upwards of 20%, Swiss Activities only charges 9% + CHF 0.30 per booking.

"We want to support Swiss merchants by helping them with our knowledge and expertise. We want to be the go-to marketplace for customers to book tours and activities in Switzerland. Guests should be able to research, book and pay for their activities in less than a minute," says Tanja.

"Since our platform is not just focused on travellers from abroad, but also on Swiss customers, we prioritise a great booking experience to encourage repeat bookings in the future, regardless if they book a tour from a big operator or a smaller, family-run business."

Successful tour and activity operators like Outdoor Interlaken, Best of Switzerland Tours, and Grindelwald Sports have already signed on.

Like I mentioned earlier, the marketplace is now available in three languages - English, German, and French. The Italian version will be launched in April.

Operators who sign up with Swiss Activities will also have their product listings optimised and translated into these languages at no extra cost.

3. Full control over your bookings

Operators have up to 24 hours to reject new bookings, no questions asked. The marketplace will also handle refunds and cancellations on your behalf, simplifying admin on your end.

4. Minimise financial risks

Swiss Activities will handle payments and refunds on your behalf, as well as any chargebacks or disputes that may crop up.
