TrekkSoft, the leading independent booking software for day tour suppliers in Europe, announced today that they have a new partnership with Online Travel Agent Lulutrip and their B2B platform World++.
Founded in the heart of the Silicon Valley USA in 2007, Lulutrip is the market leading Online Travel Agency for Tours and Activities for Chinese clients worldwide. It pioneered the concept of ‘destination tours’ for the Chinese market by allowing FIT customers to choose local tours and activities and combine them with the best airfare available on the market. Today, Lulutrip has offices based in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom and China,
World++, a B2B platform for global FIT travel products, is a GDS for tours and activities. From World++, tour operators and DMCs are able to reach thousands of distributors, while travel agents and advisors are able to browse and book local tours and activities. To date, World++ already has 280,000+ products and thousands of registered travel agents.
Speaking of the new partnership, TrekkSoft CEO Olan O’Sullivan said “In 2018, TrekkSoft processed over 1.6 million bookings for tour and activity operators across 130+ countries around the world. It was an important part of our 2019 strategy to offer our suppliers more connections to the ever-growing Asian market. An integration to Lulutrip and World++ was the final step in achieving this.”
The partnership is yet another connection for TrekkSoft to their leading channel manager TrekkConnect, also known as Experience Bank. Asian marketplaces Klook, Trip.com and Headout were added in Spring 2019.
