ITB Berlin is the biggest travel trade show event of the year. I've had the privilege of attending it with members of our Sales and Marketing department.
Whether you couldn't make it to ITB or simply couldn't check out everything that's going on, here are some of our favorite highlights from day one in Berlin!
1. Colm Hanratty's presentation
We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Colm Hanratty from Sixtwo Digital would also be giving a talk in Hall 4.1! Colm is a favorite around here, so we were delighted to attend his talk about how to stand out with engaging content.
He charmed his way into the hearts of a captivated audience, sharing a mixture of personal and professional stories. It all came together to highlight how he's been successful in working with companies to take their social media views from tens to tens of thousands.
All the advice was practical and could easily be implemented by companies big and small. But perhaps the best part was how approachable and interesting his presentation was.

2. Fjord Norway
We had a great time getting together with Fjord Norway's CEO this afternoon for a little cocktail hour. During the chat, he discussed how their business has improved over the years by moving online.
During his visit, we were also joined by Daniel Sulzer, Director and CEO of Interlaken Tourismus. We had a great time over drinks, discussing life in Switzerland, and even the best angles to take a selfie! Days like today are a fine reminder of how fun this industry is!
3. TrekkSoft CEO Jon Fauver's Keynote speech
We had a great time watching TrekkSoft CEO Jon Fauver give a session on DMOs. He offered valuable insights about how destinations are adjusting their roles in the digital climate. It was a reminder to continue to adapt your offerings. Not only with the current and changing technology, but with the customers of today and tomorrow.

Or just stop by and say hi! We'll be here all week.
